Instrument Host Overview
========================
The Eight Color Asteroid Survey was carried out during the years
1979-1983 at the University of Arizona using the 1.54m Catalina
telescope and the 2.29m Steward telescope. The instrument used was
a two-channel photometer with a dichroic beam splitter, and either
a Varian VPM-159A.12D (InGaAsP) detector or an RCA C31034-05 (GaAs)
for the red channel and with an EMI 9789QB (bialkali photocathode)
detector for the blue channel.
