Instrument Host Overview
========================
The Infrared Strudies Network (IRSN) of the International
Halley Watch (IHW) collected observations made in the
wavelength range 1-1000 micrometers at observatories all
over the world. Data collected includes photometry,
spectroscopy, polarimetry and images.
The Discipline Specialists for the IRSN were Roger F. Knacke,
Department of Space and Earth Sciences, State University of
New York (SUNY); and Therese Encrenaz, Section d'Astrophysique,
Observatoire de Paris.
Observers submitted their data to SUNY in a variety of formats,
a large segment of which were not digital. Brian McGuinness,
also at SUNY, was chiefly responsible for creating and
processing the data into digital files. IRSN staff proofed
the files internally and sent copies back to the observers
for review. All submitted corrections were made prior to
final archiving.
