Instrument Host Overview

The ground-based observations for the SL9 campaign were supplied by
groups using many supporting astronomical observatories. Listed
below are the separate telescopes with appropriate observational
parameters for which data were submitted.
The Okayama Astrophysical Observatory (OAO) is a branch of the
National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAO). It is located at
longitude E133.60deg, and latitude N34.57deg, and elevation 372m
above sea surface. Local time of Japan (JST) precedes Universal
Time by 9 hours.
