Instrument Host Overview

  Palomar Observatory is owned and operated by the California Institute
  of Technology, a privately endowed educational and research
  institution located in Pasadena, California.  The observatory is
  located on Mt. Palomar in southern California.  The telescopes in
  operation at Palomar Observatory include the following.
