Instrument Host Overview
========================
The ground-based observations for the Halley outburst were supplied by
groups using many supporting astronomical observatories. Listed
below are the separate UH telescopes with appropriate observational
parameters for which data were submitted.

University of Hawaii/Mauna Kea Observatory (2.2 m)
longitude -155 degree 28.3' latitude 19 degree 49.6' at 4215 m altitude
GEC CCD camera (0.5622 arcsec /pix)
TEK 1024 CCD camera (0.22 arcsec/pix)
TEK 1024/WFGS combination (0.351/ arcsec/pix)
the WGFS is the focal reducer - and also a spectrograph - but at UH only
the focal reducing optics were used.
