This bar indicates that you are within the PDS enterprise which includes 6 science discipline nodes and 2 support nodes which are overseen by the Project Management Office at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). Each node is led by an expert in the subject discipline, supported by an advisory group of other practitioners of that discipline, and subject to selection and approval under a regular NASA Research Announcement.

MISSION_OBJECTIVES_SUMMARY
Mission Objectives Summary ================================== The intent of the data set collection is to provide the planetary science community with radar and gravity data similar to the kinds of data that Magellan will begin collecting in the summer of 1990. The data set collection will be used for pre-Magellan analyses of Venus and for comparisons to actual Magellan data. The entire data set collection and documentation are available on a CD-ROM entitled Pre-Magellan Radar and Gravity Data. A list of the hardware and software that may be used to read this CD-ROM can be obtained from the PDS Geosciences Discipline Node.
