Data Set Overview :  This data set is intended to include all published spectra of the asteroids (243) Ida and (951) Gaspra. These have been gathered from existing PDS data sets archive data sets. Four spectra of Gaspra and two of Ida are included. The 24-Color Survey spectrum of 243 Ida has not been included in this collection, since for practical purposes the 24-color survey has been superseded by subsequent surveys such as ECAS and SMASS. The original reference should be consulted for the confidence level of any given observation.  Review :  This data set underwent formal review in October 1995.  Data Coverage and Quality :  This data set is intended to include all published spectra of 243 Ida and 951 Gaspra. It is complete through the year 1994.
