Data Set Overview : This data set includes spectra of meteorite samples reported by M. J. Gaffey in the 1976 paper 'Spectral reflectance characteristics of the meteorite classes' (JGR 81, 905) [GAFFEY1976]. Parameters : The spectrum files contain wavelength, reflectance, and error. Many spectra have no error information and the error column for these contains a null value. Reflectance values have not been scaled. Processing : The details of the data processing are reported in the original paper, Gaffey (1976) JGR 81, 905 [GAFFEY1976].
