DATA_SET_DESCRIPTION
Data Set Overview
  =================
    These albedos for 57 asteroids from stellar occultation diameters
    are published in Shevchenko and Tedesco (2006)
    [SHEVCHENKO&TEDES2006]. This data set is reproduced from Table 1
    of that paper. The albedos are derived from the stellar
    occultation diameters compiled in the file occdiam.tab in version
    3.0 of the PDS asteroid occultations data set, Dunham, D. W. and
    Herald, D., Asteroid Occultations. EAR-A-3-RDR-OCCULTATIONS-V3.0.
    NASA Planetary Data System, 2005 [DUNHAM&HERALD2005]. Error bars
    for the occultation diameters are provided in that file.

    Also included in the data set are the aspect data of the asteroids
    at the time of the occultation and the other parameters involved
    in the derivation.

    For a full description of the derivation of the albedos and a
    discussion of the results, see the original paper, Shevchenko and
    Tedesco (2006).

Confidence Level Overview
  =========================
    Quality codes for the occultation diameters and absolute
    magnitudes on which the albedos are based are given in the data
    set. For further information about the confidence level of the
    data, see the original paper, Shevchenko and Tedesco (2006).
CITATION_DESCRIPTION Shevchenko, V.G. and Tedesco, E.F., Asteroid Albedos from Stellar Occultations V1.0. EAR-A-VARGBDET-5-OCCALB-V1.0. NASA Planetary Data System, 2007.
ABSTRACT_TEXT This data set contains albedos for 57 asteroids determined from diameters obtained from stellar occultations. These albedos are from Shevchenko and Tedesco (2006).
