Dataset Overview
      ================

      This dataset contains data acquired by the Galileo Magnetometer
      during the Ida flyby on Aug 28, 1993. It includes browse data,
      high-resolution data in both spacecraft and Ida-centric
      coordinates and trajectory data. A sample of cruise phase data
      around the time of encounter has also been included to provide
      a context for the encounter data.

      Note that the START_TIME and STOP_TIME above refer to the encounter
      period. The ancillary cruise data cover an additional several weeks
      before and after the encounter period.

                     and solar latitude and longitude

      Processing
      ==========

      These data were provided by the Galileo project to support the
      Ida/Gaspra observations. They have not been changed by SBN
      personnel, but neither have they been updated for any possible
      improvements in the mission data production pipeline. For the
      most recent version, please contact the Galileo Project.

      Coordinate System
      =================

      The data are provided relative to several different coordinate
      systems. See the accompanying documentation files for details.

      ============

      The data are being delivered on CDROM to the PDS archive and
      the National Space Science Data Center. Copies of all or part of
      this collection may also be available for downloading directly
      from the on-line archives of the Small Bodies Node.

      =========================

      These data were provided by the Galileo project. They were
      extracted from the full archive as it was being prepared for
      delivery to the Planetary Data System. Subsequent changes
      to the full archive have not been propagated to these files.

      Note in particular that the cruise data has been repeatedly
      revised and upgraded since the present file was extracted
      for inclusion here. These cruise data are included merely to
      provide some context for the encounter data. Users are advised
      to contact the Galileo Project directly if their application
      depends critically on cruise data.

      Please see the accompanying documentation for caveats and
      comments relevant to each file.
