DATA_SET_TERSE_DESCRIPTION
DATA_SET_DESCRIPTION This dataset contains Pioneer Venus Orbiter (PVO) spacecraftposition and orientation data in Venus Solar Orbital (VSO)coordinates. This dataset is sampled every 12 seconds nearperiapsis, and at 1 minute or 10 minute rates in the solar wind, the lowest rates near apoapsis. Planetocentric and heliocentricposition vectors and solar zenith angle (Sun-Venus-PVO) are alsoprovided. The VSO parameters are derived from the PVO SupplementalExperimenter Data Records (SEDR), other parameters are takendirectly from the SEDR dataset. CONFIDENCE_LEVEL_NOTE This datasetcontains parameters which are either taken directly from theSupplemental Experimenter Data Records (SEDR) or are derivedentirely from those parameters. The SEDR does contain somegaps, spurious values, and other problems which may cause somedata values to be untrustworthy.
