CONFIDENCE_LEVEL_NOTE Confidence Level Overview : All telemetry data frames produced by MIDAS contained checksums that were validated upon ground receipt. During the processing of the data in preparation for delivery with this volume, the structure of the telemetry data packets was verified. This verification included detection of both the DDS header and the length of each packet, which ensured that all packets were complete and not damaged. The validity of the data has been approved by the MIDAS Science Lead and Science team members by review of the included images and evaluation of the associated housekeeping information. The dataset has passed the 2016 scientific review organised by PSA and PDS with two external peer reviewers.

ABSTRACT_TEXT The Micro-Imaging Dust Analysis System (MIDAS) is an instrument on theROSETTA Orbiter that will provide 3D images and statistical parametersof pristine cometary particles, collected in the vicinity of comet67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. This data setincludes all data from the ROSETTA EXTENSION 1 mission phase.
