Data Set Overview :The data from the ROSETTA PLASMA CONSORTIUM (RPC) Ion CompositionAnalyser (ICA) was submitted by Hans Nilsson for the RPCICA team.The data set is derived from data of mass resolved positively charged ionsin the energy range a few eV to 40 keV, separated into physical mass per chargeranges corresponding to H+, He2+, He+ and H2O+ and above. Two momentswere numerically integrated from the data, over available energy range andmeasurement directions, the density and the bulk velocity. This dataset contains DERIVED MOMENT data of ion density and ion bulkvelocity for masses 1,2,4 and 18 amu / e, from the RPCICA instrumenton mission ROSETTA during the prelanding phase.Data contains measurements of an undisturbed solar wind untilRosetta was close enough to the comet to obtain measurements ofthe solar wind interaction with the atmosphere of target comet 67P.

An automatic screening removing most corrupt data has been used.Some faulty data may remain, this is usually obvious from the look ofthe data. Low density data in general have less reliable velocity estimates.
