Data Set Overview :The data from the ROSETTA PLASMA CONSORTIUM (RPC) Ion CompositionAnalyser (ICA) was submitted by Hans Nilsson for the RPCICA team.The data set contains data of mass resolved positively charged ionsin the energy range 10 eV to 40 keV. The raw data is separated intomass channels or mass channel ranges, not actual ion mass. For mostcircumstances, significant counts are seen only for certaindirections, mass channels and energy levels. The data is thus sparsewith many zeros. The unit is COUNTS.This data set contains undisturbed solar wind data from the cruise phase.Changes form version 1 to 2: The order of the energy levels is nowfrom low to high, as this is more intuitive. The definition of thequality flag has changed and now provides information about noiselevels and possibly unstable energy scale which may affect lowenergy measurements.

An automatic screening removing most corrupt data has been used.Some faulty data may remain, this is usually obvious from the look ofthe data. Cross-talk affects some directional and mass resolution.A quality flag also indicates data with potential problems concerning noiselevels and stability of the energy scale.
