Data Set Overview :The data from the ROSETTA PLASMA CONSORTIUM (RPC) Ion CompositionAnalyser (ICA) was submitted by Hans Nilsson for the RPCICA team. The data set contains data of mass resolved positively charged ionsin the energy range a few eV to 40 keV, given in physical units (flux). The calibrated data is given for instrument mass channels, not physicalmass ranges. Separation into physical mass ranges must be performed bythe end user using calibration data. This dataset contains CALIBRATED DATA from the RPCICA instrument onmission ROSETTA during the Mars swingby. Data of an undisturbedsolar wind was obtained far from Mars, and from the Marsmagnetosheath during the closer part of the encounter.

An automatic screening removing most corrupt data has been used. Some faulty data may remain, this is usually obvious from the look ofthe data. Cross-talk affects some directional and mass resolution.
