Data Set Overview : This data set contains Ulysses Energetic Particle Composition Experiment (EPAC) 1 hour averaged sectored proton flux data from the Ulysses Jupiter encounter 1992-Jan-25 to 1992-Feb-28. These data were recorded by Proton Spectral Telescope 2 (PSTL2). Data : The file names for ULYSSES-KEP Experiment data files are: Tyydoy.TAB These are ASCII files. The data entries in the files are always single precision float values containing one hour averages in Flux / (s cm^2 sr) starting at midnight for each day. The corresponding times are integers indicating start of average. The entries are separated by blanks. Then the total length of the ASCII records are: 858 Bytes with 24 records per file. Bad or absent data are flagged with -9.99999e+10. The data entries include: PSTL2 Proton Spectral Telescope 2 Channel 1-8, Sectors 1-8, where: PS energy channels in keV: Channel 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Energy(keV) 508- 520- 541- 574- 633- 768- 994- 1431-1559 The record structure is as follows: 1 character string (24 Bytes) with the format yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ss.sssZ yyyy : year mm : month dd : day hh : hours mm : minutes ss.sss : seconds 64 reals (13 Bytes, e.g. -1.23456E+03) for PSTL2 (8 channels with 8 sectors: CH1SE1, CH1SE2, ..., CH2SE1, ...)
