This bundle contains all the operational products generated by both the Liciacube Explorer Imaging for Asteroid (LEIA) and Liciacube Unit Key Explorer (LUKE) instruments together with Radio Science data as part of the LICIACube ASI mission. The bundle also includes documentation that describes the data products for each data collection. -

Liciacube Explorer Imaging for Asteroid Light Italian Cubesat for Imaging of Asteroids (LICIACube) Raw Data Collection
This data collection contains the raw images takn by the LICIACube Explorer Imaging for Asteroid (LEIA) instrument flown aboard the cubesat LICIACube deployed by the Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) spacecraft. LEIA images are of the DART impact with the asteroid Dimorphos and of ejecta plume evolution after impact. These images have been put into a simple 2D FITS format ready for calibration and analysis. The DART mission was a planetary defense mission designed to test and measure the deflection caused by a kinetic impactor (the DART spacecraft) on the orbit of Dimorphos asteroid around its primary, (65803) Didymos. -

This data collection contains the calibrated images taken by the LICIACube Explorer Imaging for Asteroid (LEIA) instrument flown aboard the cubesat LICIACube deployed by the Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) spacecraft. LEIA images are of the DART impact with the asteroid Dimorphos and of ejecta plume evolution after impact. These images have been calibrated to radiance and have been put into a simple 2D FITS format. Ancillary files used in the calibration process are included in the data set in 3D FITS format. The DART mission was a planetary defense mission designed to test and measure the deflection caused by a kinetic impactor (the DART spacecraft) on the orbit of Dimorphos asteroid around its primary, (65803) Didymos. The LICIACube spacecraft is supported by the DART mission via NASA Contract No. 80MSFC20D0004. -
